Steve Guerra

Biography

Steve Guerra is the managing partner of the Firm. Steve received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. Steve graduated magna cum laude from Wayne State University Law School where he was awarded Order of the Coif and served on Law Review. Steve became involved in homeowner association law immediately upon completing law school. Since that time, his practice has centered on interpretation, review, and amendment of community association documents, restriction enforcement, assessment collections, and review, negotiation and drafting of association-related contracts. Steve also focuses his practice on commercial and residential real estate finance, acquisition, development and leasing. Due to his expertise in community association law Steve has been named the Board President of the Community Association Institute – Michigan Chapter (CAI). Steve has also been named a Leading Lawyer by Leading Lawyer’s Magazine, a designation given to less than five percent of all lawyers licensed in the State. Steve also serves on the Legislative Action Committee for CAI’s Michigan Chapter, and is currently a faculty member for the State Bar of Michigan’s Real Property Law Academy. Steve spends his free time with his family, and enjoys playing guitar, skiing, and investing. --- - Steve has also been named a Leading Lawyer by Leading Lawyer’s Magazine, a designation given to less than five percent of all lawyers licensed in the State, and has been named to the 2019 Edition of the Best Lawyers in America©.
