Jeff Vollmer

Biography

Jeff Vollmer is a partner at the firm. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island, with distinction, in 2000. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Law in 2003, Cum Laude, where he was granted membership in the Order of the Coif. Jeff began as a law clerk at Wegner and Associates PC in 2002 and continued on with the firm as an associate attorney in 2003. In March of 2013, he was promoted to shareholder, and the firm joined with Makower Abbate Guerra PLLC in 2015 to form Makower Abbate Guerra Wegner Vollmer PLLC. Jeff specializes in drafting condominium documents and subdivision declarations, consulting on governance, administration and Fair Housing issues, interpreting and enforcing condominium documents and subdivision declarations, civil litigation, both defending and prosecuting claims on behalf of community associations, and lien foreclosures and creditor rights. Jeff’s vast experience has allowed him to offer insight to community associations through numerous seminars and articles presented in association with United Condominium Owners of Michigan (UCOM) and Community Association Institute – Michigan Chapter (CAI). He is a member of the Condominiums, PUDs, & Cooperatives committee through the State Bar of Michigan and also serves on the Seminar Committee for the Michigan Chapter of CAI.
